M.O.S.T. Cards™

M.O.S.T. Cards™ are a microprocessor based smart card family designed for the rapid creation of cost effective multi-function and/or high-security single-application cards.

M.O.S.T. Cards let you design a smart card system that grows with your needs and applications while maintaining high security.

The card family is based on a mature, feature rich ISO 7816 compliant operating system. The OS is portable between various silicon vendors, thus "upgrade proofing" your development investment. These cards are designed for symmetric key application environments that require both cost and security considerations.

The family currently features up to 72k Bytes of user memory that can be configured for high-security and purse functions. The M.O.S.T Card Operating System also supports a variety of anti-tampering and security measures, such as SHA-1 bidirectional authentication. DES (private-key encryption), anti-tearing mechanisms, PIN/passwords, and internal random number generation for unique digital signatures and session journaling are also featured. The M.O.S.T. Card family supports the ISO 7816 T=0 and PPS protocols for the higher speed capability of today's new card readers.

Additional features can include high reliability M2M chips and high temperature card substrates for severe environments.

You can always update the card data (provided that you set your privileges to allow it). Initiating new applications is made easy without the need to reissue cards. Applications include Gaming, E-Commerce, GSM, TV Set-Top Decoders, Stored Value Purse/Wallet, and Information/Access Security.

M.O.S.T. Cards work in a Windows or Linux environment. Project development is supported by the PCSC API, the CardLogix M.O.S.T. Toolz File Creation Utility, and the Smart Toolz™ Development Kit, featuring the powerful Winplex™ API.
